Disney's Celtic Rose

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.
It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give - it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!
Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]

Doesn’t cost you a cent, just a click.

Sadly, Walt Disney never lived to dine at Club 33. It was completed just a few months after his death. Around the time of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary, the Club had a painting commissioned of Walt dining at the restaurant. The painting now hangs in the restaurant, and features Walt at a window table, with the Mark Twain Riverboat outside, sipping a cup of coffee as he reads the paper. It is truly a moving piece of art.

There is this flooding happening in Norway now and apparently it washed up this really old burial ground, so there is a bunch of century old humans bones floating around right now.

Norway - forever the most metal country ever.

Is it wrong that my first thought was, “OMG!! The start of my bone collection!!!!!”?
Meh.

Disneyland’s “Live” Mermaids Appreciation Post - Disneyland’s “live” mermaids were officially part of the Submarine Voyage from the Summer of 1965 - 1967. However, there were also “live” mermaids swimming the lagoon on opening day, June 14, 1959. Eight synchronized swimmers were hired to perform an underwater ballet at the day’s festivities! Pictured above are two mermaids from 1967, and pictured below, are their 1959 counterparts.
